Kingfisher welcomes James Beard-nominated author and beverage consultant Danny Childs of Slow Drinks to Durham on June 26th for one night only.

Danny is a Kingfisher kindred spirit who is pioneering an approach to beverages that we whole-heartedly believe in and aim to practice here: transforming locally grown botanical ingredients into one-of-a-kind cocktails using biodiversity and sustainability as guiding lights.

Danny will be behind the bar at Kingfisher all night, starting at 6pm, taking over a portion of our menu to showcase his foraged and fermented concoctions featuring North Carolina's early summer bounty. No ticket or registration necessary for this bar takeover, just come on in!
